Residents of Sawua , Prabon,Aboaso and other adjoining communities within the Sawuah Electoral Area under the Bosomtwe Constituency in the Ashanti Region are appealing to the ruling government to as a matter of urgency to fix their deplorable road network that connect from Sawuah Junction to Tetrefo and its environs.

The road leading to Sawua through Tetrefo to Aboaso and other communities is in a bad shape making it difficult for commuters to ply the road.

Some angry residents accuse contractor, Kofi Job constructions, who has been reluctant on working to the contract terms and claims that the road was awarded to him under the ruling government although there is constantly no work done on the road network, the contractor has vacated and moved his equipment making movement difficult.

The residents further complained about exorbitant fares been charged them by commercial drivers plying the road.

For this, the aggrieved residents are appealing to the Roads and Highways Ministry to as a matter of urgency work on their deplorable road network and bring it into proper shape to ease movement from one community to the other.
