Two Kumasi Technical University Students has been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after a head on collision between two vehicles at the school main entrance as reported by Sompa news reporter, Benjamin Kusi.

A saloon car with registration number GW-1453-22 which was on a top speed heading to the campus could not control the steering wheel when the driver anticipated some students crossing the road and, in an attempt to save the students swerved and veered off the road and run into another vehicle with registration number DW-8972-G.

The saloon car was smashed leaving the windscreen, side doors, bumper and some of the tyres badly damaged.  Some students and pedestrians plying the road sustain degrees of injury, but two unidentified students are in critical conditions receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
