Stakeholders in the Wenchi Municipality have met for deliberations in identifying and tackling examination malpractices as candidates prepare to write this year's West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
The WASSCE began this morning. Monday August 4 and will end Tuesday September 9, 2025. The meeting held at Wenchi together parents, teachers, and students to explore possibilities to make the conduct of this year's WASSCE devoid of examination malpractices.
Madam Genevieve Kwaateng Donkor, the Bono Regional Examination Coordinator noted that had compromised the integrity of WASSCE and results of students in the region.
The Wenchi Municipal Police Commander, Superintendentc warned that examination malpractices were serious offence punishable by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) Act 2006 (Act 719).
Mr Kwadwo Gyimadu expressed appreciation to the Ghana Education Service for the forum and urged the candidates to eschew all forms of examination malpractices.
