Managing Director for Amacares Foundation, a non-profitable organisation, Madam Ruth Baiden has appealed on parents and stakeholders to help in the fight against child sexual abuse in the community.

According to her, many children go through several forms of sexual abuse but parents often acts reluctant to listen to their wards whenever they feel like sharing it with their parents.

Madam Ruth Baiden made this statement when the foundation presented some drugs to the Ekumfi Swedru community in the Ekumfi District in the Central Region during a health screening and advocacy program.

Adding that the NGO is still in course to fight against child sexual abuse amid its donation of sanitary pads and health screenings.

Queen Mother of Ekumfi Swedru and the CEO of Ena Kare Foundation, Nana Adoa Enyinfuaa III, expressed appreciation to Amacares Foundation for its support to the community through efficient healthcare collaboration.

She assured good use of the medications donated to administer quality healthcare to indigenes in the community.
