The Busunya Polyclinic in the Nkoranza North District of the Bono East Region has received support to build a walkway aimed at improving healthcare delivery in the area.
Vincent Amponsah Gyamfi, the Bono Regional Director of NEIP donated 25 bags of cement to the facility on Friday, October 4, 2025 for the building of a walkway to harness the transportation of patients’ to-and-fro the theatre.
In addition, he presented an envelope containing GHC 1,000 as payment to the mason who would undertake the project.
Speaking to Sompa news, Mr Gyamfi said the gesture was in fulfillment of a promise made upon an appeal from the medical director of the facility.
Mr Gyamfi was in the company of the Bono Regional Director of YEA, Mustapha Omar Copson and District DRIP Coordinator, Solomon Opoku

The Nursing manager, Busunya Polyclinic, madam Cecilia Pourizumah on behalf of the medical director thanked Vincent for the kind gesture.
Madam Cecilia Pourizumah appealed for support to build a fence wall around the facility.
This she said would ward off stray animals from entering the facility’s premises.
According to madam Pourizumah, the construction of a fence wall would improve the safety and security of health workers and patients.
She added that the facility was also challenged with staff accommodation especially for newly posted nurses.
She called on well-meaning Ghanaians to assist the facility deliver quality healthcare.
