Chief Executive Officer for Brakwa-Breman Rural Bank (BBRB) in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District in the Central Region of Ghana, Mr. Felix Dompreh has appealed on government for help by opening government accounts with rural banks in the country.
Mr. Dompreh has emphasized that the rural banks are also capable of managing government accounts and money.
According to him, rural banks have over the years handled huge amount of monies at their situated areas which positions them well enough to manage government monies at their respective areas, which will in tune give the government a lot of benefits.
He made this expression at the 39th Annual General Meeting of Members of Brakwa-Breman Rural Bank PLC, held at the Teachers Cooperative Credit Union Hall at Ajumako.

Mr. Felix Dompreh stressed that rural banks possesses lot of transactional operations they can help government with in terms of doing business. For this reason, he urged government to open accounts with rural banks, particularly with Brakwa-Breman Rural Bank, judging their amazing offers.
He added to uncover that the Bank of Ghana (BoG) has approved the proposal of Brakwa-Breman Rural Bank to pay dividend for the 2024 financial year. A dividend of GHC 0.01 per share, totaling GH¢119,720.80 has been proposed, representing a dividend yield of 18.78% on the share price of GH¢0.10.
Additionally, he urged the general public to come deposit at their banks, as their monies will be safe with them.
