The Kissi M/A JHS 'A' and 'B' has taken a significant leap forward in enhancing the learning experience for its students with the unveiling of a modern computer laboratory.
The laboratory, equipped with cutting-edge technology and internet connectivity, aims to provide students with hands-on experience in computer science and digital literacy.
The unveiling took place on Thursday 23th, October, 2025 at Kissi, a suburb of the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) Municipal Assembly in the Central Region of Ghana.
The unveiling ceremony, attended by school administrators, teachers, students, and special guests, marked a milestone in the school's commitment to providing quality education.
The laboratory is expected to enhance the academic performance of students, foster innovation, and prepare them for the digital age.
Dr. Engr. John Panyin Abban, who solely financed the ten laptops and eight desktops, expressed joy for undertaking such a project ahead of the request of the school's headmistress. He said, the initiative is for the "development of the school".
He emphasized the importance of technology in education and the role it plays in shaping the future of the students.
Mr. Isaac Mepenodo who represented the KEEA Municipal Education Director, also appealed for more support for the enhancement of education in the Municipality, as the Education Directorate pledged to make good use of the laboratory.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Gifty Ewusiwa Koomson, Headteacher of the school depressed her appreciation towards the philanthropy done Kissi M/A JHS 'A' and 'B'.

She also ceased the opportunity to appeal for support to address the remaining challenges confronting the school.
"We need to paint the school, fix the destroyed windows, renovate the toilet facility, we are understaffed and others," she stressed.
The computer laboratory is a welcome development for the school, and it is expected to have a positive impact on the students' academic journey. With this new facility, the school is poised to produce digitally literate and innovative students who are well-equipped to compete in the global economy.
