Some officers of the Bono regional Command of the Ghana Police Service caught in a viral video allegedly taking bribe has been interdicted.
The Bono Regional Police Command says it has initiated an investigation into the said officers captured in the video
circulating on social media that shows they were allegedly taking money from motorists.
"The officers involved have been identified and interdicted to allow for a thorough and impartial investigation into the incident", the Public Relations Officer of the Command, Chief Inspector Thomas Akeelah said in a statement.
The Command also assured the public of its commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and accountability among its personnel.
