The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that written promotion examinations for eligible teachers will be held on Monday, 29th December 2025, and Tuesday, 30th December 2025.

According to a letter dated 6th December 2025, addressed to all Regional Directors of Education, the examinations are scheduled as follows:

29th December 2025: Assistant Director II (AD II) and Principal Superintendent (PS) exams will be written from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.

30th December 2025: Assistant Director I (AD I) and Deputy Director (DD) exams will be written from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.

Candidates are required to report at designated examination centres by 8:30 AM each day with their original Ghana ID card and other required materials.

Meanwhile, details of examination venues, eligible candidates, and invigilation rosters will be communicated later.

Regional Directors have been asked to ensure the information reaches all schools and teachers promptly.

The GES has also requested the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT), and Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS) to disseminate the information to members and encourage eligible teachers to participate.
