Some concerned residents in the Sunyani Municipality say willing inheritances remain the surest way to secure properties and deepen family and social bonds.
They are calling on family heads and parents to endeavour to will their properties appropriately, noting that would help avert disintegration and bond families together after their deaths.
Their concerns follow calls by Betty Mould Iddrisu, a former Attorney General and Minister of Justice for Ghanaians to write wills and to secure the future of their loved ones and families.
According to the former Minister wills secure assets of the deceased and control family litigations.
Speaking in an interview with Sompa FM in Sunyani, Mr E.K Amoh, a concern resident said wills were also appropriate and commendable, saying they secured family lineage and properties.
Mr Simon Peter, an electrician said with wills, the sharing of family properties was always easier devoid of unnecessary litigation.
