The Right Reverend Dr Festus Yeboah Asuamah, the Anglican Bishop of the Sunyani Diocese at the weekend inducted the newly elected executives of the
Diocesan Mothers' Union at the St Anslem Cathedral in Sunyani.

The executives are tasked to lead the union to achieve its vision of expanding church growth and supporting vulnerable people in the church.
Speaking at an induction ceremony, Mr Ahmed Ibrahim, the Minister of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs congratulated the executives for their new leadership positions, urging them to severe in humility and in diligence.

Mr Ibrahim also the Member of Parliament for Banda Constituency asked the newly executives to invest in income generating ventures to strengthen their financial base
Mother Belinda Serwaa Addo, the newly elected President of the Union explained that their induction into office was new chapter and highlighted on their vision for the union
