The concern mothers in Atronie in Sunyani East municipality in the Bono region are pleading to the government of Ghana to create jobs for the youth in the municipality.
According to them, lack of jobs opportunities in the country remains one of the major challenges confronting Ghana as a nation and the government need to create jobs to ease unemployment rate among youth in the country.
Speaking to Sompa FM in Sunyani, Mad Lillian Asiedu, a shop keeper in the Atronie town said, because there is no jobs in the town, majority of the boys are smokers and drug addicts, saying it will minimise if there is jobs for the youth.

Madam Diana Aboagyewaa, a cold store attendant also said, the government should do something about it because they don't work, their parents are responsible for their feeding always.
