The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) Volta Regional Command delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Volta Regional Corporate Games, emerging as one of the standout participants at the annual event.
The games dubbed “Corporate Bites” held on Friday, March 20, at the Ho Sports Stadium are organized each year by the Electricity Company of Ghana to promote teamwork, wellness, and collaboration among corporate institutions in the region.
GNFS secured the football trophy after a dominant showing on the pitch and also gained overall recognition in volleyball, further highlighting the team’s athletic strength across multiple disciplines.
The awards were presented to the Volta Regional Commander, ACFOII Joseph Tetteh Freeman, who attended the event to support and motivate the officers throughout the competition.

Speaking after the event, ACFOII Freeman commended the officers for their dedication and teamwork. “This victory reflects the discipline, unity, and resilience we uphold as a Service. I am proud of our team for representing GNFS with excellence both on and off the field,” he said.
Beyond sports, the event featured a variety of fun-filled activities, including cooking and eating contests, all aimed at strengthening corporate bonding and fostering camaraderie among participating organizations.
