The Accra Regional Police Command has declared a man, identified as Wisdom Tetteh, wanted in connection with the disappearance of Theophilus Ashitey Amarh.
In a press release dated April 14, 2026, the police said the suspect is being sought following ongoing investigations into the case.
Preliminary findings indicate that the missing man was last seen at his residence, where suspected bloodstains were later discovered, raising fears of possible foul play.
According to the police, intelligence gathered so far suggests that the suspect may have fled Ghana to neighbouring Togo.
“The Accra Regional Police Command has officially declared suspect Wisdom Tetteh wanted, and is calling on the public to assist in his arrest,” the statement said.
The police have urged anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspect to report to the nearest police station or contact emergency numbers.
Authorities assured the public that efforts are underway to apprehend the suspect and bring him to justice.
