The member of parliament for Afigya Kwabre North, Hon Collins Adomako Mensah has urged Ghanaians to remain calm and exercise restraint until the sector minister of finance Hon. Ken Ofori -Atta presents his mid-year review statement on the economy.
According to him, the sector finance minister is the only one who has the power to tell Ghanaians the revenue generation from the e-levy.
He further calls on the back of a tweet from Mr Gabby Asare Otchere Darko insisting the 600 million Ghana cedis e-levy targets have already been missed.
The International Monetary Fund IMF, the MP, Hon Collins Adomako Mensah, who doubles as a member of the finance committee of parliament, said the New Patriotic Party government was already applying most of the conditionalities including the introduction of salary cuts and other austerity measures
