More than 7,000 fresh students of the University of Energy and Natural Resources are benefiting from the government's 'No stress free' programme, says Mr James Clarke Hayford, the Registrar in-charge of the Dean of Student Office of the university.
He lauded the implementation of the programme, saying that it had increased the student population, saying that the university had its
highest student intake of about 8,400 freshers in the 2025/2026 academic year due to the 'No stress free' programme.
Mr Hayford also the Institutional Advancement and Alumni Relations Officer of the university disclosed this when he spoke to Ama Konadu
on the Sunyani-based Sompa FM 'Adea Akyi Abia' morning show on Thursday.
Mr Hayford explained that the 'No stress free' programme had made it easier for students to access university education and commended the government for the initiative.
