NADMO urges precautionary measures against flooding 

Mr Alfred Ata Yeboah, the Bono Regional Operations Director of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has predicted the severity of the rains, urging the public to take precautionary measures against flooding.

He expressed concern that the impacts of climate change were well felt in the region and manifested in the unpredictability of the weather and rainfall patterns in the region.

Speaking to Ama Konadu on Sunyani-based Sompa FM ‘Adeakye Abia’ morning show on Tuesday, the NADMO was collaborating with the Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) for accurate daily weather updates.

Mr Yeboah assured NADMO’s dedication to intensify disaster management and prevention education in the region.
