Member of Parliament for Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) constituency in the Central Region, Hon. Samuel Atta-Mills has in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ongoing parliamentary primaries advised delegates not to be deceived with money but to vote for one that can effect positive change in their livelihoods.
Speaking to Sompa TV/FM reporter Eric Annan, he told delegates to vote for competency by retaining him for the third time as MP for KEEA come Saturday, May 13, 2023.
The MP made this statement after vetting at the Central Regional NDC party office in Cape Coast on Tuesday.
The lawmaker revealed that his competence has made KEEA become one of the consistent constituencies across the country to have won both parliamentary and presidential seats for the NDC consistently.
He said the 2016 general election saw his constituency emerge among the five constituencies within the Central Region to retain both seats for the political party, thereby, asking delegates for his retention.
Having placed fourth on the ballot sheet after the vetting process, supporters in the company of the MP chanted in admiration of the slot as a sign of 4th continuation of an era.
