The ruling New Patriotic Party's parliamentary candidate for Asikuma-Odobeng-Brakwa (AOB) Constituency in the Central Region, Winifred Abaidoo Ayin has described the constituency's Member of Parliament, Hon. Alhaji Kobina Ghansah as an outmoded candidate to lead the area again in parliament in the 2024 general election.
According to the NPP parliamentary candidate, in as much as the AOB MP appears ineffective, he is also old which requires him be voted out of power in the upcoming election.
She stressed that it's about time AOB gets a young, vibrant and energetic person to lead the constituency in parliament.
Winifred Abaidoo speaking in a media engagement after a thanksgiving service at the Breman Asikuma Catholic Church highlighted that Asikuma-Odobeng-Brakwa's developmental deficiency, clearly depicts Hon. Ghansah has disappointed his constituents.
She disclosed that she is in to rescue the people of Asikuma-Odobeng-Brakwa from impoverishment with tangible developmental projects since their Member of Parliament has failed woefully in fulfilling his campaign promises.
The outspoken politician asserted that roads in the constituency are still in its deplorable state with nothing done to improve its condition as promised by the Member of Parliament.
The AOB NPP parliamentary candidate further urged constituents of the area to rally behind her to win the upcoming general elections to actualize all the good policies she has in stock to development and provide enough job opportunities for youths of the constituency.
Other party members of NPP at the constituency also recounted readiness to snatch the area's parliamentary seat from the NDC since their candidate appears committed and dedicated to the constituency's development.
