The New Patriotic Party (NPP) fraternity at Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam (AEE) constituency in the Central Region have called on their Member of Parliament, Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson to render an unqualified apology over his accusation of the NPP's alleged recruitment of undeserving youths into various security services in the country.
This follows a circulated publication, purporting the NPP parliamentary candidate for Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam, Dr. Kwesi Rashad Etuaful to be inviting applicants to bring their names for an emergency recruitment to various security services through the office of the Vice President and Chairman of the police council for employment.
To this, the party has vehemently come out to deny of the allegation and have called on the national security for investigation into the matter.

The Communications Director rather accused Hon. Cassiel Ato Forson to be the main person behind this emergency recruitment of undeserving youths into various security agencies but has cut corners to accuse the NPP.
He noted Ato Forson to be the one urging youths of the district to retain him as their MP in other to help them get recruited in the security service, having assisted his siblings and a host other get recruited into various security agencies in the country. Hence, beseech the national security to launch a thoroughly investigation into the matter.

He, however, fingered the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to be masterminders of the publication who started its circulation through their various whatsapp platforms.
John Kwame Yanney again remarked that, before 2008, Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam as a constituency has been a safe place which have witnessed series of peaceful elections, but same can't be said of the area today, since Hon. Cassiel Ato Forson took over as MP, having had the police describe the area as a flash point prior to the 2024 general election.
