Parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa constituency in the Central Region, Winifred Abaidoo-Ayin has presented car tyres to the Ghana Ambulance Service in the area.
The presentation was aimed at enhancing emergency care services in the district.
Items presented to the service were a set of brand-new car tyres, intended to replace the worn-out ones hindering operations of the Ambulance Service in the constituency.
The donation came in response to a request made by the service which hasn't been unable to operate for months due to the aforementioned challenge.
The service following its operationally encountered challenges at the area, decided to relocate its station from the district prior to the NPP parliamentary candidate's timely donation.
Winifred Abaidoo-Ayin following her donation, urged all stakeholders and philanthropists to equally come to the aid of the Ambulance Service whose work is of sheer importance to humanity.
Advance Emergency Medical Technologist (AEMT) for the AOB Ambulance Service, Mr. Daniel Ahiataku who received the items, commended the parliamentary candidate for his prompt support and expressed confidence that the donation will enhance healthcare services and operational efficiency in the district.
Mr. Daniel Ahiataku on the challenges affecting healthcare delivery in the constituency, highlighted the inadequacy of resources and called on all well-meaning individuals and organizations to emulate Winifred Abaidoo's benevolent gesture and follow suit to assist the Ambulance Service fulfill its role of ensuring patients safety in AOB.
