Madam Millicent Yeboah Amankwaah, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament-elect for the Sunyani West Constituency in the Bono Region has pledged her commitment to facilitate progressive development to enhance the socio-economic livelihoods of the constituents.
She said peace sustenance also remained a majority priority and gave the assurance that she would work hard to strengthen the prevailing peace in the constituency too.
In an interview with the media in Sunyani, Mad Amankwaah said strengthened peace remained essential in facilitating the holistic growth and development of the local communities and individual life.
Besides, the MP-elect said she would also work hard to improve access to quality education for all, better healthcare services, and improved health facilities, saying access to clean and reliable water and good roads also remained her priority.
She said she would use her connections to lobby for development projects that would benefit the local communities and also improve the working conditions of health personnel in particular to inspire them to deliver exceptional healthcare services to the people.
"The people of Sunyani West Municipality voted for change and development by welcoming my vision", she stated, and stressed her readiness to bring the development of the local communities to the next level.
Mad Amankwaah said she would also collaborate effectively with the security services to enhance public safety, saying enhanced security remained a vision, creating an environment for people to go about with their daily activities in an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.
