Mr Seid Mubarak, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sunyani East has inaugurated a mechanized borehole to tackle the perennial acute water problem at the Sunyani Technical Institute in the constituency.

Speaking at a short ceremony held at the institute’s premises in Sunyani, the MP expressed appreciation to some partners for the facility, urging the students and authorities to maintain it.
Mr Seid pledged to facilitate the construction of a standard administration block for the institute, promising to cut the sod for the project early 2026.

Mr Gabriel Gyamfi, the Bono Regional Director of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) commended the MP for the facility, and appealed for student beds, and a kitchen for the institute.
