Mr Joseph Addae Akwaboa, the Bono Regional Minister has extended his "Accounting to the people series' and interacted with the chiefs and people of Berekum West District in the region.
He also inspected some the progress of work on the construction of some development projects in the area.

Addressing the people at a durbar at Jinijini, the district capital, Akwaboa pledged to work hard to stem illegal mining activities going on at Amomaso and Benkasa communities in the area.

He called for the support from the community members saying that fighting the menace remained collective responsibility.
Mr Akwaboa said the government was also finalising modalities for the resumption of work and completion of the Agenda III District Hospital
project in the area.
