Didi Dramani concerned as Hearts of Oak struggle to turn chances into wins

Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani admitted concern over his team’s inability to secure victories, following another disappointing result in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians were held to a 2-2 draw by Swedru All Blacks at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, leaving them winless in five matches and fourth on the table with 43 points, six behind the leaders.

Sunday’s draw saw Hearts scramble for a point, with second-half goals from Mawuli Wayo and Frank Duku rescuing them from defeat.

Despite creating opportunities, the team has repeatedly failed to convert chances into wins, a trend that has Dramani worried.

“I think that the most important thing is that we need to win games. And so it's worrying when we don't win games, especially when you are creating chances and then you are not converting,” he said.

Hearts of Oak will look to arrest their slump when they host Young Apostles on Sunday in match week 30, aiming to regain momentum and close the gap on the league leaders.
