Member of Parliament for the Awutu Senya East Hon Phyllis Naa Koryor, has expressed her sincere appreciation to Mr. Julius Neequaye, the Chief Executive Officer of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), for his exemplary leadership and commitment to enhancing transportation services in the nation.
Commissioning the new, state-of-the-art DVLA Ultra Modern office located in Kasoa, the Member of Parliament highlighted a notable milestone in Ghana's history, the fact that vehicles registered in this region will now proudly bear the official identification code of KS (Kasoa).

She emphasized, marks an important step towards improving efficiency and organization within the vehicle registration process.

Furthermore, she remarked that the architectural design and operational standards of this new building set a benchmark that other branches should strive to achieve in order to effectively serve the general public, ensuring that all citizens have access to quality governmental services that meet their needs with professionalism and care.
The Chief Executive Officer for the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), Mr. Julius Neequaye Kotey, has put forth a heartfelt appeal to the various authorities overseeing the operations of these offices, urging them to remain steadfast in their commitment to professionalism and integrity by refusing to accommodate any so-called Golo boys individuals who may attempt to exploit or bypass the established procedures within these public service domains.

Commissioned three new offices located in Anya, Budumbram, and Kasoa, Mr. Kotey emphasized the importance of operating efficiently and effectively, drawing attention to exemplary practices seen in other institutions that run around the clock, 24 hours a day, which consequently helps to boost business operations significantly. His passionate call for improvement was underscored by the necessity for the DVLA to align its practices with those of successful counterparts to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Mr. Kotey shed light on a concerning issue that has led to the temporary shutdown of several DVLA offices, which have remained closed for periods ranging from three to six months due to activities that are contrary to the organization's core mission.

He noted the critical nature of compliance with established procedures and issued a stern warning to the authorities in charge, emphasizing that vigilance and adherence to policy are paramount for the successful functioning of the DVLA and for upholding the trust of the public.
