'Salifu 11' a youth group within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ahafo Region has disassociated itself from the political violence which erupted at Tepa in the Ahafo North Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

The town witnessed a wave of violence after the declaration of the Election 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.

Addressing a news conference at Goaso, the Ahafo Regional capital, the group condemned the act of lawlessness going on in the aftermath of the polls.

Abdul Sadick, the Chairman of Group, said "Salifu 11" had no involvement in the Tepa violence, explaining that the group operated only in the Ahafo Region.

Muniru Salifu, the Commander of the "Salifu 11" warned individuals associating the violence to the group to desist from that.
